Chi-gong

Chi Gong is the generic name for a form of Chinese exercise. Translated it means "Breath/Energy Work". That is the practice of learning to enhance and direct the life force energy of our bodies. Chi Gong is a low impact form of exercise that co-ordinates breathing with smooth fluid movements and specific breathing techniques. Chi Gong is all about inner fitness. We learn to influence our energy to produce specific beneficial effects on our bodies and minds. It is an internal workout.

All Chi Gong exercises are designed around completely natural action, and so allow the body to open gently. This encourages all the major systems of the body to strengthen, but without strain. Chi Gong has a whole range of exercises; standing, sitting, lying down, slow rhythmical twisting and stretching motions, walking, swinging, solo and partnered. After a Chi Gong session you will feel refreshed and invigorated but also calm, peaceful and smiley.

10 week course x 1 hour per week.
Course must be paid in full prior to commencing training or via Ezypay fortnightly deduction.
